I noticed there are lots of people who choose year end to move houses. And what great timing too I have to say because a lot of sales and warehouse sales tend to happen around this time of the year too. So for those who are shopping for new furniture, lighting fixtures, home appliances, etc, this will be a good time to watch out for all those wonderful sales to pick up your stuff for much less.

Lately I've been consuming quite a lot of rich food. Not only that, I'm also snacking a lot on chocolates. And because of that, it might explain why I've put on some weight. I sure hope that I don't continue this way. I guess I just have to control my snacking if I can't avoid the rich foods. Otherwise I'd have to go for the best fat burner in town. And I don't really wish to...

So remind me if I keep snacking!

I was lunching with a friend yesterday and she was saying how upset she was with her husband for buying not just 1 bike but 2! She really detests the fact that he loves riding bikes, obviously because of safety reasons. But she couldn't stop him from buying those big racing bikes anyway.

She has started to look more closely into their insurance policies since he bought those vehicles. I thought she was being dramatic and funny but she does take it very seriously. She's even contemplating hiring a San Jose motorcycle accident attorney! Hmm...I don't know if she really should take things too seriously.

After all I don't think the hubby is that bad a rider nor is it going to be such an extreme sport to ride the bike.

Last week we went to a local Thai food restaurant called Rama V in Kuala Lumpur. The food was pretty decent and we ordered so much, including some rather fattening desserts. We just couldn't help it. Even those who claimed to be on some programs for weight loss couldn't help themselves digging in!

The food and ambience are quite good, I have to say. Price wise, well a bit pricy but then I think I wouldn't mind paying for it once in a while especially if it's for a special celebration or function.

Do drop in and try it for yourself. They have quite friendly staff too.

Have you noticed recently how many blog shops are out there selling almost identical stuff? Well I have one myself and I've noticed competitors from all angles coming in with the same pieces at times. It's scary how we can all exist to make our business meaningful with some decent profits to make!

But then again I think the market is there and that's why each of us are still surviving although we aren't very much differentiated. And thanks to a lot of free web directory where we can list ourselves on, we are getting pretty good and decent visits.

As easy as it may sound, shopping for just the right rugs is really not an easy task! We need a few pieces for different areas of the house and I just can't seem to find suitable ones. Not a single one!

And there really are a lot of choices out there, I just don't know why I can't seem to fall in love with any. Perhaps I'm being picky. I shall try again and drop by more home furnishing stores.

Worse come to the worse, I'll just have to settle for some simple ones first and replace them only when I find what I think is right, isn't it?
